Visit Kanditheemu is a community-based tourism initiative designed to unlock the full potential of Shaviyani Kanditheemu as a culturally rich and naturally beautiful island destination.
The project supports local guesthouses, homestays, tourism-related businesses, women- and youth-led SMEs, and community entrepreneurs through capacity building, service improvement, and coordinated destination marketing.
The project is supported by Australia’s Direct Aid Program through the Australian High Commission to the Maldives and European Union funding through The Asia Foundation.
